Riley County Police arrested an 18-year-old Manhattan man over the weekend in connection to a pawn shop burglary and theft.

Officers were called out to Wildcat Pawn and Jewelry Friday morning just before 7 a.m. Arriving officers found the business had been broken into and a rifle worth approximately $1,100 had been stolen. Officers were called out to the 1400 block of Flint Hills Place, nearly two hours later to investigate a possible stolen car and identified the suspect to be the same in both incidents.

Keimon Webster was charged with burglary, domestic battery and criminal deprivation of property after further investigation revealed he had taken a car belonging to a 42-year-old woman without permission and a struck a 41-year-old man in the face.

Webster remains jailed on a $7,000 bond.
