A Manhattan woman was arrested on Thursday for suspected identity theft.
Rachel Ligenfelter (Ling-gin-fil-tr) was arrested at 9:30 am by the Kansas State University Police at the 1400 block of Claflin Road in Manhattan
Ligenfelter is charged with two counts of identity theft with intent to defraud someone receiving benefits more than $100,000, single counts of criminal use of a financial card and one count of mistreating a dependent adult using deception or false pretense.
Ligenfelter is currently out of Riley County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
