A Texas man was arrested Wednesday on a Riley County District Court warrant for a past motor vehicle burglary and other crimes.
The Riley County Police Department says 23-year-old Augustus Sherman Jr is charged in a 2022 incident, alleging he stole a vehicle and money from an ATM in Manhattan. He faces two counts of theft and two counts of criminal damage to property, in addition to a charge of burglarizing a motor vehicle.
Sherman remains jailed on a $12,000 bond.
