Pillow Cleaning @ American Legion

Pillow Cleaning at American Legion, 114 McCall Road, will be Wednesday, October 24th, from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm.  ONE DAY ONLY.  Make feather beds into pillows or renovate pillows (feather or foam) with new ticking.  Sponsored by The American Legion Auxiliary Unit #17.  If you have questions, call Wanda Jepsen at 785-539-4816.

Randolph Church Fall Supper @ Randolph Methodist Church

The Randolph Church Fall Supper will be on Wednesday, October 24th from 5:00 to 7:30 pm.  The menu will include Swedish Meatballs, Creamed Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Vegetables, Salads, Homemade Bread, Homemade Pie and Drinks. Adults: $8.00.  Children K-6th grade: $2.50.  Proceeds will support the many missions of the United Methodist Women.

Hogtoberfest @ Cox Bros BBQ

Hogtoberfest will be held from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm on Thursday, October 25th, a Cox Cares event at Cox Bros BBQ.  Eat a tasty BBQ to support Meadowlark Foundation’s Good Samaritan Fund.  10% of sales will be donated.  A Slider Buffet will be from 11 am to 2 pm and a Hog Roast Buffet, 6 to 9 pm.  Win Cash! Sacred Heart Sausage Supper @ Paxico Sacred Heart Church

Paxico Sacred Heart Parish will have a Home Smoked German Sausage Supper on Sunday, October 28th at the Parish Hall.  Mass begins at 10:30 am.  Buffet style serving is from 12:00 to 3:30 pm.  They will also have Bingo/Games/Raffles and a Silent Auction.  Adults: $12.00.  Ages 4 thru 12: $4.00.  Ages under 4: FREE.

A Night of Illumination @ Bill Snyder Family Stadium
Nov 2 @ 6:00 pm

A Night of Illumination will be held on Friday, November 2nd at 6:00 pm at Bill Snyder Family Stadium West Stadium Center.  The Friends of K-State Libraries invite you to join them for a toast to resilience, new possibilities and boundless aspiration as we look to the future for our beloved Hale Library.  Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception followed by dinner, dessert, and a performance by Dr. Wayne Goins & the Rhythm & Blues Machine.  Proceeds leveraged by the event will go toward Help for Hale, a fund devoted to making Hale Library the light on campus that it has been for two decades.  Tickets are $100 per person and must be purchased by October 19th.  Cocktail attire is recommended, but not required.  Seating will be reserved at tables of eight.
