There will be free sack lunches for kids available on Tuesday & Thursday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Eagles Club, 312 S 4th in Manhattan throughout the summer.
The Riley County Historical society invites you to spend “An Evening with Johnny Kaw” Tuesday, June 19th, at 7:00 pm at the Manhattan Public Library. Linda Glasgow, Riley County Historical Museum Curator of Archives, and Ed Klimek, chair of the Friends of Johnny Kaw Committee, will talk about Johnny Kaw, his origin, early years, present status and future plans.
The Randolph Church will have Homemade Ice Cream on the lawn on Saturday, June 30th, at the Randolph 4th of July Celebration. 100 gallons in a variety of flavors. Plus: Homemade Pie and Ham Sandwiches. Serving you from 11:am til the freezer if empty!!!
Hope Therapeutic Riding Center will hold an Open House on Saturday, June 30th from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Horse rides, games, and refreshments will be offered. The public is invited to the open house, which is being held to celebrate the program, instructors, volunteers, and riders.
