Commissioners will vote on the final development plans for the proposed Midtown Development on a currently city-owned parking lot at 12th and Laramie Streets in Aggieville. City officials previously agreed as part of the plan to sell that lot for a dollar for the development of the 40 million dollar, 5-story multi-use building.

The Commission will also vote on a pre-development agreement with the Manhattan Housing Authority for a proposed 20 million dollar low income senior housing building on a city-owned parking lot at 5th and Pierre Streets. Part of the proposed agreement would involve transferring up to half ownership of that lot at no cost to the Housing Authority.

Commissioners will further consider proposed free parking hours on Aggieville streets and in its parking garage, as well as receive the 2021 city audit.

The meeting gets underway at 6 p.m. in Manhattan City Hall – it’s televised on Cox Cable Channel 3 and livestreamed at www.cityofmhk.com/tv.
