A Clay Center man was arrested Wednesday morning on drug and burglary charges north of Randolph in Riley County.

31-year-old Brock Odell was arrested following a report of a burglary in progress on Peach Grove Road after 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 26. Riley County police responded to the scene and found Odell in possession of a stolen GMC Acadia and illegal drugs. A damaged barn door has led to an estimated $500 loss to three victims who were not present at the time of the burglary.

Police later filed a burglary report that afternoon connected to an incident west of Randolph. Odell was accused of being connected to the case, in which a $500 loss was estimated from the theft of bathroom faucets and door stops as well as a damaged kitchen island.

Odell is facing charges of burglary, possession of stolen property and criminal damage to property in addition to a drug possession charge. He’s currently confined in the Riley County Jail pending a court appearance.
