During their Tuesday meeting, the Manhattan City Commission approved executing an amendment and resolution for the construction and financing of the Aggieville Pedestrian Walkway between Rally House and Goodscents.
The alley design also includes a dumpster enclosure north of Goodscents. Deputy City Manager Jason Hilgers said this enclosure is the first step in addressing significant trash problems in the district.

Hilgers also notes that it will likely be beneficial to take action sooner rather than later, as space for a trash compactor is already limited.
