A former USD 383 paraeducator is expected to be sentenced to prison today in Riley County District Court.
Aaron Zachry plead guilty to separate charges of indecent liberties with a child and sexual exploitation of a child back on Jun. 26 before Judge Kendra Lewison.
He previously plead not guilty to 37 counts in December 2022, but agreed to the new plea bargain after similar charges were dropped in Geary and Pottawatomie counties.
Zachry was arrested at the Northview Pool in June 2021 for separate incidents that had occurred in June 2020 and March 2021.
The sentencing hearing will begin at 9 am before Judge Lewison.
