Camso Facility in Junction CityGovernor Kelly announced that Michelin will invest more than 100 million dollars in the Junction City facility over the next five years.

Kelly said, “Michelin’s expansion is further proof that the work we are doing to recruit, retain, and expand businesses is the state is paying off. Now, 200 more Kansans will have quality jobs and Junction City will continue to grow, benefiting the state as a whole.”

Senior Vice President of the Beyond Road business line said, “With this investment, we’ll not only able to meet a growing need in the agriculture market, but we will also continue to add to our workforce in Kansas where our teams are eager to meet tomorrow’s challenges and serve our customers who are also our neighbors.”

The 200 new jobs in Junction City will increase the plant’s total workface to 375 over the next 3 years. Kansas is home to three Michelin manufacturing facilities, all specializing in the Agricultural industry. The other two facilities are located in Emporia.
