A Junction City woman was injured Wednesday in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 70 in Geary County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says two vehicles were eastbound on I-70 just after 5 p.m, Wednesday. As one vehicle came to a sudden stop, the second moved in front and was then hit from behind, pushing the second car into the guardrail. That vehicle spun out and came to a stop in the roadway.
The driver of the second vehicle, 28-year-old Marissa Donaldson sustained a serious injury and was transported to Stormont Vail Hospital. The other driver was not identified. A child was in her vehicle, but no information was provided on their condition.
