Tomorrow marks the filing deadline for the November general election, and a seventh person has announced they are vying for a seat on the Manhattan City Commission.

Karen McCulloh announced Tuesday she is hoping to be elected to the commission once again.

McCulloh was elected to the city commission back in 1997 and 2013. During that time, she served twice as mayor. She was also elected to the Riley County Commission in 1992 and 2008.

The six other candidates include incumbents Mayor Mark Hatesohl and Commissioner John Matta, as well as Susan Adamchak, Rosemary Crumly-Loucks, Peter Oppelt and Rafael Rodriguez Jr.
