A Manhattan man was arrested Monday on a Riley County warrant for probation violation.

According to the Riley County Police Department, the warrant against 27-year-old Erick Chavez stems from original charges of child endangerment, interference with parental custody and domestic battery. Chavez was also arrested for interference with law enforcement, and drug possession charges after police say he fled from officers on a bicycle and on foot. He was apprehended in the 1000 block of Kearney Street.

He remains jailed on a $15,000 bond.
