Manhattan Mayor Mark Hatesohl has officially filed for re-election to the Manhattan City Commission.

The three-term commissioner announced his intent in late April to seek re-election, with a continued focus on economic growth, community revitalization and fiscal responsibility. Hatesohl is a local businessman who owns and operates Chiropractic Family Health Center in Manhattan.

Five candidates have emerged in the city commission race, ahead of the June 1 filing deadline. The field also includes incumbent commissioner John Matta, Rosemary Crumly-Loucks, Peter Oppelt and Rafael Rodriguez Jr.
