The Manhattan Fire Department says no injuries were reported after a brief structure fire Thursday involving a single-story home.
Crews were dispatched just after 9 p.m. to 2087 College View Road. Upon arrival, smoke could be seen coming from the front and roof of the home. Following an aggressive attack, firefighters brought the fire under control within 20 minutes.
The home’s two occupants were able to safely make it out before firefighters arrived.
Total loss is estimated at roughly $50,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
