The Flint Hills Breadbasket is tackling hunger with its annual SouperBowl Food and Fund Drive this weekend.

Food collection to stock up the pantry will take place Saturday ahead of the big football game Sunday.

Event organizer and former Riley County Attorney Bill Kennedy spoke with KMAN earlier this week about the long-standing annual fundraiser.

Kennedy stated, collections will take place at Dillons East from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Dillons West from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Hy-Vee from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at RCPD from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
