REO Speedwagon is at the Tony’s Pizza Event Center in Salina on February 16th and we know that love makes the world go round and we want to hear about how the love you have for your significant other! You can enter and tell us the story about how you ‘Keep On Lovin’’ your current life-partner.
Our first winner is Christy from Emporia and she writes:
“Thirty-five years ago this year, the same year “In My Dreams” was released, I met my husband. I was 16 and a sophomore in high school. Little did we know that “Life As We Know It” was about to change in the best way ever. I knew that “I Can’t Fight This Feeling”, I had to “Follow My Heart” and told myself, “Don’t Let Him Go.” He’s been here to “Live Every Moment” ever since. We celebrated 30 years of marriage last year and 30 years of promising each other to “Keep On Loving You”. We’ve definitely had seasons of “Ridin’ the Storm Out” and have had to “Roll with the Changes” more than a few times, but we’ve raised two amazing sons and are blessed with a beautiful granddaughter. Through it all, we “Keep Pushin’” and I’m so thankful to have him “Here With Me”. I would love to sit next to him in the Tony’s Event Center listening to REO Speedwagon live in concert listening to even more of our favorites like “Time for Me to Fly” and “One Lonely Night”.
